Fastex
Textile Ink is a heat setting ink which when properly applied will
be colour fast, dry cleanable, wash resistant and suitable for most
fabrics.
Available in a full range of bright colours. The fluorescent colours are
less resistant to fading. Variable results may be obtained on some
synthetic fabric and wool, so please patch test first.
Use FAS Extender Medium to reduce the depth of colour without losing any
fastness properties.

USE FOR: |
Use Fastex for painting or
printing permanent designs on to fabric. Ideal for painting on
clothing, tee-shirts, pillow cases, duvets, hats, cushions, curtains
and most fabric items. |
|
CHARACTERISTICS: |
Versatile and permanent heat
setting fabric ink with a very large intermixable range of colours.
Designs may be applied by either painting or screen-printing. The best
results are achieved on white or light coloured fabric.
Tip: It is better to paint two thinner coats than one thick
coat for a durable finish. |

APPLICATION: |
We suggest that you patch test
your fabric first. Apply by brush or screen stencil. Allow to air
dry, then iron on the reverse side for three to five minutes at a
setting suitable for the fabric. The fabric may then be washed in
its usual way without affecting the design. If printing onto thick
or fleece fabric, allow to dry thoroughly then place a light cloth
over print and iron as above. Thin sparingly with water if necessary
as this will affect fastness properties. |

CLEANING: |
Wash up work surfaces and tools with soap and water
immediately after use, the painted surface becomes permanent. |
